2021.12.09 00:31 nito23 What's your favorite album?
I made the realization that I don't really listen to whole albums anymore(singles I guess) . I asked all my friends what their favorite album was and I got some interesting answers. But a lot of them said it was a too difficult of a question. So here I am asking y'all , what's your favorite album, so I can listen to it (I got a lot of new time on my hands now).

2021.12.09 00:31 FenekPanda Should I take on courses/certifications before even finishing uni?
I'll be finishing my degree in the next 7 months, I've also been working as a research assistant and right now I want to get into clinical laboratory at either a hospital or an independent lab, thing is I don't know if those certificates will help on this search, I'd be applying for entry level jobs, so my question is: should I focus on getting experience as fast as possible wherever I can or i could be little more selective? if so, would the courses/certificates help in that? Which would you recommend get for an entry level position?

2021.12.09 00:31 Cool_Formal2491 Warmwear vs Wintergrip
Hey folks - Which would you recommend for warmth/winter comfort, the Warmwear or the Wintergrip? Or would the fur lined styles be the warmest (not the biggest fan of these but will take them if they are the best alternative)? I have super cold feet all the time and plan to wear wool socks with them, but I volunteer outdoors standing on NYC concrete for a few hours each week and need something warm.

2021.12.09 00:31 laurellocklind Reasonable workplace adjustments for depression/OCD
I have depression and OCD, and I've been struggling lately.
It's nowhere near as bad as it has been in the past, but I've been having significant issues sleeping these past few months on top of it which is just leaving me feeling wrecked. I work 13 hour shifts in a hospital lab (7am-8pm), and with how poorly I've been sleeping I usually only get 2-3 hours of sleep a night on the days I'm in work. Today I had to call in sick because I didn't get any sleep at all.
My managers are aware of my mental health issues and have been fairly supportive. I've been considering asking to work one of the later shifts to try and get some better sleep (a few people work 9am-10pm or 10am-11pm due to familial commitments), but I'm very anxious about bringing it up. I keep telling myself to suck it up, that everyone else can work the early shifts no problem so I should be able to as well, but I really feel like I'm reaching a breaking point now. I just feel so exhausted.
I guess what I'm wondering is if a change in hours would be considered a reasonable adjustment for my depression/OCD, and if anybody has had any experience asking for something similar? I just have no idea how to broach the subject, or if it's unreasonable to even ask.
Thanks for any responses!

2021.12.09 00:31 3959moneyballer ISO - Funny videos of Rudy Gobert's infamous water bottle slap
I was talking with my wife and father-in-law tonight and neither of them knew about Rudy's infamous water bottle slap a few seasons ago. I showed them the video and we had a good chuckle and then I had a faint memory of people posting videos they had made using the water bottle slap and cutting in funny endings.
Does anyone have links to some funny/good examples. I'd like to keep the laughter going. TIA!

2021.12.09 00:31 MachineWonderful4365 Continue Basketball or Not?
I need advice if I should continue playing or do something else instead like volunteer and work after school.
It has been a few years since I last played basketball. About 2-3 years to be exact. This year, my friends wanted me to play and so I did. Then, a few days after tryouts, I told my coach I was quitting. However, my friends seemed disappointed when they found out so I rejoined after 2 days. See, I really enjoy our practice sessions; but I must say that it can be tense and there is a bit of drama which makes it dreadful at times. A few days ago, we actually had our first official game. According to our coach, as long as we put in the effort during practice and we attend every practice, we would get playing time. Although, during the game, I had the least amount of playing time despite always being at practice on time (I only missed one) and working hard. Then, when I was put on the court, I must admit that I did not play well mainly because the game was tense, and at a crucial part when I was subbed in, and the assistant coach never told me that I was subbing in. Thus, it created a bit of confusion for me when I was playing. Now, because of this, I feel like my team's very disappointed in me because we might have lost because of how I played. To be honest, if I was going to be subbed in, I felt like I should have been subbed in when the game was not at a crucial point. Also, I feel like this is going to continue (not getting playing time) which I feel is a bit unfair because some of the people who were on my team who only attended a few practices got more playing time than me.
So, I honestly feel like it's a waste of time and I am playing for the wrong reasons (for friends not really for the sport anymore). I would say I enjoy it because it is fun, but if I am not going to be able to get playing time, then I suppose what's the point of dedicating my time? I also feel like there's a bit of favoritism going on in the team but I guess it's like that in every team. Since that game, I lost interest in playing because of how unfair I felt it was. Note that our practice is at 4 pm and our school ends at 12pm but I stay at school until practice due to how far away the school is from my house and my brother can't always bring me to practice. See, I am leaning towards quitting but I don't want to get "bullied" for quitting for the second time, and I feel like my coach and teammates are going to become upset. But, I also don't want to drag myself to those games and practices.
Basically, I need advice on whether or not I should continue playing or quit again for the second time. I feel like I could use my time for basketball doing other things like working and doing volunteer work. I hope this makes sense, feel free to ask anything.
